Analyst Movements: Andrew Brown leaves IDC for Strategy Analytics

After 10 years at IDC where he has been heading up mobile computing research in EMEA, Andrew Brown has accepted a global position with Strategy Analytics effective 3rd September.
Andy will be focusing on enterprise/business mobility and mobile computing in all its forms (from middleware and mobile email to devices/laptops etc), building on the expertise and experience he has gained over the last decade at IDC.
Quite a coup I’d say.
This comes hot on the heels of Geoff Blaber’s decision a short while ago to leave IDC’s European Mobile Devices team to join Ben Wood and the gang at CCS Insight.
Geoff is now happily ensconced at CCS Insight focusing on mobile devices, particularly entry level products and enterprise mobility.
