Ryan J. Barr heads Hill & Knowlton’s Financial Communications and Investor Relations practices. He is a Senior Vice President and Director based in H&K’s New York headquarters. At H&K Mr. Barr leads a team of experienced professionals across multiple industries and a wide variety of disciplines. He provides corporate and financial communications strategic counsel for clients throughout the H&K network and draws upon his experiences both in-house and at agencies.

Mr. Barr brings more than a decade of experience to H&K. Prior to leading the H&K Financial Communications and IR practice, he served as Vice President, Corporate Communications of Atari, Inc. Mr. Barr was responsible for all of Atari’s external and internal communications efforts, including investor and media relations, corporate positioning and special events.

He routinely spoke at industry events covering a variety of topics including industry trends, development challenges, marketing and corporate communications. In addition to his traditional communications role, Mr. Barr led Atari’s M&A activities as well as securing capital through PIPEs and asset divestitures.

Mr. Barr received a B.S. in Business Management and Economics from Lehigh University.
