Michael Kehs serves as General Manager of Hill & Knowlton’s Washington Office and heads the firm’s US Public Affairs Practice.

Michael draws on more than 25 years’ experience developing and implementing award-winning issues management, corporate positioning and public service campaigns to counsel H&K clients across a broad spectrum of interests and industries.

Prior to joining Hill & Knowlton in 2008, Michael spent more than nine years at Porter Novelli, where he was a Partner & Director, Washington Public Affairs. He led the integrated advertising, earned media and interactive campaign for the Abundant Forests Alliance that won nine awards including Public Affairs Campaign of the Year 2007 by PR Week.

Michael is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Davidson College, where he earned Honors in Political Science. He lives in Vienna, Virginia, with his wife Pam and three boys.
