Social Media Forum: Who knows what'll happen?

LONDON -- Tomorrow Phil and I present at Melcrum's conference for technophiles.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of mood the whole thing has.

I know late last year Neville Hobson (who is on before us) blogged from the podium, while waiting to present.  Which sounds kind of rude.

We have clients like HP and Microsoft coming.  It'll be interesting to see how the technology companies compare to the banks and insurance companies that will also be there.

Sometimes this business has the most unlikely pioneers.

I'll also be quite interested to see what Phil and I present.  It's going to be a"real time" show.  I expect the slides to change right up to the last minute...

We're taking requests too: Any holiday snaps you want us to show?  Messages for the 100 delegates?  This is you chance...

I don't plan to live blog this time, David. Instead, I'll Twitter. Or is that also live blogging?

Part of my presentation will also be 'real time.' Interesting indeed to see what mood the whole event will have.

Neville, I hope I got across that to someone who doesn't know what blogging is, 'blogging live' sounds like it might be unpleasant to watch...  Not that you were being rude...

    The limits of the language...

Found your presentation compelling enough to sit down and write my blog for the first time in a long time. Figured I need to find my niche and consider my audience so I'm gonna write about music - what I know! You kept us all awake for the graveyard shift. Thanks.

    Emily,
I think that might be the best comment I have ever had on this blog.
