Which Prince would you work for? Phillip or Charles?

SOHO SQUARE -- Forgive me, this sounds like a question in an up-market Heat magazine.  But I am interested in knowing, based on two recognisable personalities, in an imagined business setting, who would you rather work for?  Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales, or Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh?

There is a reason that I ask, and it underlines the answers, so don't get too carried away.

They are both quite similar characters (nor surprisingly), but one plays up his 'soft' skills and yet is said to be quite tough underneath (Charles) and the other is just the opposite.  (See previous post for a bit more info.)

Which kind of boss would you rather have?

Answers below, with reasons, please.

Thanks

I'd rather work for Charles. His soft exterior makes him approachable but I want to work for people who have a tough side too. It spells confidence in their convictions and that usually is a sign of experience and of someone who can get things done.

Where that toughness is on the exterior I am sometimes suspicious of it protecting a weakness in their confidence of themselves and the things they do. It's not comforting working for people like that.

Whole thing reminds me of an old advert for Dime Bars. The cholocalte bars were soft on the outside and crunchy on the inside, and were compared to armadillos who have the opposite constitution!

Here it is on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwTHVZHqSb0

In sum, I'd rather Charles to Phillip, Dimes to armadillos.
