As I have alluded to before, business blogging communities can be a great platform to support companies' thought leadership activities.
The guys at EDS have obviously read my post ;-) as they launched their Next Big Thing Blog yesterday - a place where their 27 EDS Fellows (their most innovative thought leaders) "discuss the future of technology".
Good points:
- Comments allowed (although completely moderated - see bad points below)
- Real names of post authors being used (only two contributors so far)
- Blogging guidelines available (although the five bullet points seem more like a code of ethics to me)
Bad points:
- No trackbacks
- No comment policy (they say they will "review all comments for content", but no indication of what content will be deemed unsuitable)
- No blogroll
