Am I the only one to be a little disturbed about the BBC's
announcement to rebuild its website around user-generated content?
Call me old-fashioned, but I rather like the fact that there is a clear dividing line between the quality journalism that the BBC delivers (the only UK media organisation to do so, IMHO) and the diversity of personal and professional commentary that social media has to offer.
It would be nice to know
why the BBC have decided that this is how the licence payer wants their money to be spent.
