Ideas generate ideas, it's a very simple formula. The more you are exposed to cool and interesting things people have created or said or are doing around the world the more information your own brain is going to process and connect to during your next creative session. Every fortnight (a.k.a. every two weeks) I'll be sharing some of my own personal inspirations to help open your mind to develop that next "big idea" ready to come out of you. Feel free to leave a comment with some of your favourite online places.
Earth Album - a very cool site that mashes flickr with google maps, click on a
country/state/region and see the latest photos that have been uploaded on
flickr from that area.
Audio License - a site where you can find every sound effect you’d ever need to really bring
to life an idea or concept (for some Goosebumps action check out the body falling
ones)
Don't Click It - this site rocks, you maneuver around the site without clicking your mouse, it’s
all about gestures and swipes and it rocks – we need more sites like this
Hassle Me - send a “hassle me” email to yourself (get to the gym, read a book, read Ryan’s
View)
Stripe Generator - for when you want some stripes for a presentation background
Newspapers Around the World - want to know what top papers around the world have on their front page, go to this site to see 558 front pages from 56 countries
