In Microsoft Outlook 2003, select Options from the Tools menu. Select Preferences, then Email Options, then Advanced Email Options. Then deselect:
- Play a sound
- Briefly change the mouse cursor
- Show an envelop icon in the notification area
- Display a New Mail Desktop Alert
