Do you mind if I quote a couple of your articles as long as I provide credit and sources back to your blog? My website is in the very same niche as yours and my users would genuinely benefit from a lot of the information you provide here. Please let me know if this okay with you. Thank you!

Thank you for another informative blog. Where else could I get that type of information written in such an ideal way? I have a project that I am just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such info.

Mr. Hawn was forwarded a number of defence policy-related questions from the readers of my Defence Watch blog. I contacted his office by email and by phone on five different occasions to inquire if he would be answering any of the questions.

The emails were never acknowledged. But during the phone conversations with his staff I was told to expect a response.

None ever came.

As for the suggestion that I go to DND public affairs for a response to my readers' questions, that was not the point of this exercise. Mr. Hawn came on to my Defence Watch blog to complain that journalists such as myself are "selective with the facts."

This exercise was to give him a chance to communicate directly with my readers. They asked the questions and I would put his answers up verbatim on the blog.

Mr. Hawn would be controlling his response. There would be no interpretation of his words from a journalist.

Mr. Hawn, however, did not respond at all, which the various readers of Defence Watch noted was very telling indeed.

thanks
