The Day After

I have jury withdrawal this morning, missing my newfound friends as many return to their countries or elsewhere.  Still, Cannes goes on and much more to look forward to in terms of sessions & workshops.

Our session yesterday with Twitter co-founder Biz Stone was packed to standing room only.  Folks were sitting on stairs and pouring out the entrances to the auditorium.  So much for a lower attendance at this year's Festival, and such is the interest in all-things-a-Twitter!  Questions for Biz were Tweeted on a giant scrolling screen on stage, and Biz was happy to field just about anything, including the big question about monetization, although I'm not sure if delegates felt this was truly answered...i.e. looking for ways for Twitter to provide added value to brands.  Still, it was a refreshing session with a Twitter twist, and everyone was buzzing about it last night!
