Global PR Blog Week 2.0
19 September 2005
Building on last year’s huge success, Global PR Blog Week 2.0 started today.
The program for the next five days covers everything you need to know about blogging, with articles contributed from authors around the world:
- September 19: Types of Corporate Weblogs
- September 20: Tools & Practices
- September 21: Customer Generated Marketing, Transparency & Ethics
- September 22: Education, Government, Citizen Journalism & Non-Profits
- September 23: Challenges of Corporate Blogging
Hill & Knowlton bloggers are contributing three articles, with the first already live as part of today’s programme. Blogging for our brand: Building a business blogging community for Hill & Knowlton charts the development of Collective Insight, and shares some of the models we used to help us set policy and provides advice for anyone looking to create a blogging community for employees or customers.
On Wednesday, Joël Céré will share his insight into consumer generated marketing. Update: here’s the link to Joël’s excellent analysis.
And on Friday, following a series of highly criticised entrances into the blog consulting arena, I will be trying to answer the question: Practising what you preach – does it really matter?
