I've been spending my time lately trying to increase my presence on Twitter and while I have increased my followers I've struggled with the fact that I have not been able to increase my influence. I now realize that the only way for that to happen is if I stop trying to be influential and let others decide if I am or not based on how my content connects to them. I learned a lot from this post.
