New MTV Climate Change Campaign Unveils Floating Hands
09 December 2008
MTV recently announced a new global climate change campaign called “Switch.” And given that its MTV I can’t wait to see what the creative young minds that work there unleash on the world to raise awareness of climate change. I’m extremely excited by one of their first projects – Floating Hands – which made its debut in the canals in Amsterdam. The hands are eerily creepy and holding a sign that says “Global Warming. What’s all the fuss about?” with a call to action to visit the campaigns website. This is another example of how a very smart, clever visual has the potential to leverage online channels to extend to areas beyond the initial geographic location of the effort.
My friends over at Ecorazzi let me know about this one – another great place to check out to see what’s happening in the environmental world.
