One of the most creative marketing tactics I've ever seen was done by Ocean Spray on Michigan Ave across from the iconic Tribune building. Ocean Spray filled a water fountain with cranberries. They had a street team take pictures of people and posted them on the Internet. And they passed out cranberry recipes. It's always stuck out in my mind. Guerilla marketing, which is alluded to here with more cost-effective campaigns at maximum reach, is creativity at its best. I’m from Chicago.
